The Ballarat Cricket Association is proud to announce the we have been successful in securing a significant cricket event in season 2013/14. A recent proposal put forward by the BCA to Cricket Victoria received the following response.

“Thank you for the time and energy the Ballarat Cricket Association put towards the recent submission of an expression of interest to host the Victorian Premier Cricket BUSH BASH triple headers at Eastern Oval Ballarat.

Cricket Victoria received a total number of 13 applications from Country Cricket Associations and venues across the State. Ballarat Cricket Association application was outstanding, and we are pleased to confirm your application has been successful.

The following matches to be played, at the Eastern Oval, on December 7 will be as follows:

9.30am St Kilda v Dandenong

1.00pm Greenvale Kangaroos v St Kilda

4.30pm Dandenong v North Melb

Well done to the Ballarat Cricket Association & congratulations on a successful submission.

We look forward to working alongside the Ballarat Cricket Association and hosting a spectacular Premier Cricket BUSH BASH with the Ballarat and surrounding communities".

The BCA will also be holding a community event on the Friday night with more details to follow.
